Ashley was born a month ahead of schedule, and weighed about 3lbs. In ICU she stayed for an entire month. She was informed by her parents at the time of Christmas Day that she was going to undergo the procedure for her heart. Christmas Day brought answers to her prayers after doctors informed her parents she was born with an open heart. Ashley didn't require any surgery. Her hospitalization lasted two months and she only weighted 4 1/2lbs at the time she left. Since that time, she's not had a single illness! Her father has English and German ancestry. Her mother is Irish. Her acting debut was as a Barbie Doll in the commercial for Salon Surprise in 2002. Ashley was then pursued by the Ford Modeling Agency at the age of 8. From then on, she's been working in publishing and still working for the Agency. When she was 10, Ashley made the decision to be an actor. Ashley performed in over 35 commercials. After that, she progressed into roles for the stage. Acting was now Ashley's passion. Ashley's focus shifted to acting. It was a little difficult to find time to dance or modeling. Ashley is best known for her portrayal of Hannah Marin on ABC's Pretty Little Liars. Ashley was also a guest in Romeo Miller (aka Lil Romeo) and in Solange's music videos for her track "True love". Britney Spears acted as her co-star in the Vogue Magazine photoshoot. She is featured in the video for "That Girl" by NLT.
